Thank you to everyone who joined us for our inaugural webinar in the ACT Inclusive Leadership Series!

Measuring Inclusion: Higher Profits & Happier People, held on May 8, 2025 and led by Dr. Paolo Gaudiano, Chief Scientist of Aleria.

In this dynamic session, Dr. Gaudiano challenged conventional thinking about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). He explored how most organizations treat DEI as a “bolt-on” — a separate initiative added to HR or compliance efforts. Unfortunately, this often results in poorly designed programs and resistance from leadership.

Instead, Dr. Gaudiano introduced a transformative lens: what if organizations managed their human assets the same way they manage financial assets?

By drawing compelling parallels between the three major financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow) and the core pillars of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), he demonstrated how organizations can measure, manage, and embed inclusion systemically, with minimal pushback and maximum impact.
