Alistair Pim, Vice President, Innovation & Partnerships, ACT

Prior to ACT, Alistair was VP of Business Development and Alliances in the Global Smart Cities segment at Schneider Electric, where he was responsible for developing the partner ecosystem. Alistair has extensive experience in the energy technology industry initiating and developing strategic relationships regionally and globally with IT industry leaders and local government, then building and managing teams to leverage these relationships for mutual business benefit and customer value. Prior to Schneider Electric Alistair was with start-up SynQor Inc, working as GM European operations, and VP WW Sales. Alistair serves on the cleantech committee for the MIT Enterprise Forum and served on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of ASAP (Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals), and is a CSAP (Certified Strategic Alliance Professional). He holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management (UK) and a BS in Engineering Science from the University of Exeter (UK).

Katie Burke, CPCU, ARM, Vice President, North America Renewables Growth Leader, Marsh Specialty Energy & Power

Katie Burke is a seasoned risk management and renewable energy leader with deep expertise spanning engineering, insurance, and project development. She currently serves as North America Renewable Energy Industry Leader at Marsh, where she helps renewable energy organizations manage risk across the full lifecycle of their projects.

Over her four years at Marsh, Katie has built a strong track record of supporting clean energy clients, first as a Renewable Industry Specialist and now as a senior leader shaping strategy across the continent. Prior to Marsh, she served as a Risk Engineer at The Hartford and a Loss Prevention Engineer at AIG, consulting with diverse industries on property, liability, and operational risk mitigation.

Katie began her career in the energy sector as a Project Engineering Intern at Phillips 66 and later at Palomar Natural Resources, where she gained hands-on experience in refinery operations and field production studies.

A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Economics, Katie is also an active member of the Society of Women Engineers and a proud advocate for women in STEM.

Tom Burton, Chair, Sustainable Energy & Infrastructure Practice, Mintz

Tom Burton’s zeal for innovation and passion for clean energy and sustainability have shaped the clean energy industry. He pioneered, and currently chairs, one of the nation’s first clean energy, climate, and sustainability legal practices at the turn of the century. He deploys full scope integrated legal services for emerging companies with the project development and finance services required to scale innovative technologies and, as a result, Mintz routinely participates in “first of its kind” transactions. Clients ranging from investors like venture capital and private equity funds to entrepreneurs to Fortune 100 companies rely on him and his team for creative and strategic legal solutions. He has led hundreds of financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital market transactions. He guides the industry’s next generation of leaders through active involvement with start-up organizations and accelerators. He and his practice are Chambers ranked, with Tom being recognized as an industry leading practitioner by Chambers USA 2021 to present. Tom is recognized by Legal 500 as “rising to the fore” in energy technology for Venture Capital and Emerging Companies. Tom and his team are also ranked in the Top Ten of the 100 largest law firms listed in the Law Firm Climate Change Scorecard researched by the Law Students for Climate Accountability.

Kenyon Willhoit, Principal, Power & Utilities, Renewables and Infrastructure Deals and Valuation, PwC

Kenyon Willhoit is a Principal in PwC’s Deals Group, with over 21 years of diversified valuation and finance experience in the Power & Utilities, renewables, and infrastructure industries. Kenyon’s experience includes financial reporting and tax valuation, project and business valuation, mergers and acquisition support, corporate and financial restructurings, interim management roles, complex financial analysis and modeling, business and financial due diligence, cash flow and earnings forecasting, transaction and financing support, litigation support, and forensic accounting.

Prior to PwC, Kenyon was a Managing Consultant in PA Consulting Group, Inc.’s Energy Capital Markets practice, where he led the valuation team in producing and delivering insight driven analytical and advisory work product for consulting engagements. While at PA Consulting Group, Kenyon contributed to a number of successful and significant power and utility, oil and gas, and biofuels engagements.

Kenyon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business, a Master of Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and a Master of Science in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
